Where to go and funding? 

Here you will find information about other mobility centres in Europe and some sources of funding. In addition, please see the Research funding in Finland section on the main  page.

The Academy of Finland has various forms of funding for Finnish researchers who wish to work or study abroad.  More information is on the website.

The information of the Academy's web pages concern researcher training and research abroad, research training at the European University Institute EUI, researcher exchange grants, travel funds to researcher meetings that promote the preparation of projects and applications to key international research funding organisations, grants for researcher training and research in the USA in fields supporting business know-how, and subsidy for a researcher's return to Finland.

Furthermore, the information deal with support to researcher mobility by stage in research career and support to researcher by the four Research Councils of the Academy of Finland. More information is on the website.
