General housing information
Ministry of the Environment is responsible for housing administration.
The Act on Residential Leases governs flat renting in Finland. For more information have a look at the PDF-file.
Finnish Student Housing Ltd is one choice also for a foreign researcher. Application procedures may vary in different towns, and the apartments may be in high demand, but applying for accommodation this way is always worth a try.
